Creative technologist. AI filmmaker. World-builder.
Wilfred Lee is a Toronto-based AI filmmaker, worldbuilder, and actor, and the founder of Artist’s Journey. In 2025 he founded GenTO, Toronto’s AI film collective and festival, whose inaugural edition runs December 5 and 6, 2026 at Innis Town Hall. He is currently Creative Technology Lead for Product Marketing, Firefly, at Adobe, and teaches generative AI at Toronto Metropolitan University’s Transmedia Zone.
He currently serves as Creative Technology Lead for Adobe Firefly in Product Marketing, and engineers generative AI for broadcast production with A+E Networks. His AI short film The Last Dream won awards at AIMF and the Queensland XR Festival, with selections at the Seoul International AI Film Festival, SESIFF, OMNI, and the Barcelona Planet Film Festival.
Wilfred is Founder and Co-President of GenTO, Toronto’s AI film collective and festival, whose inaugural edition runs December 5 and 6, 2026 at Innis Town Hall. He is also an exhibiting artist at Illuminarium Toronto, the first exhibition to showcase works created with generative AI. His mission: unlock the creative potential for 1 billion people.
